ACSI Spelling Bee 03/01/2011
Carolina Christian School students in grades 5th -8th competed in the ACSI spelling bee in Winston-Salem on Tuesday, March 1st. Carolina Christian took 16 students to this event. There were 12 schools at this event.
We had several students receive awards:
5th Grade: Christian Little received 4th place
6th Grade: Dylan Bisbee received 1st place
7th Grade: Danni Huber received 5th place
8th Grade: Reiley Burris received 1st place
That afternoon, Reiley Burris and Dylan Bisbee competed to attend the Regional ACSI Spelling Bee in Atlanta. Dylan placed 1st and Reiley placed 4th in this bee. They will be traveling to Atlanta, GA on March 26th to compete in the Regional ACSI Spelling Bee. If they place well in this bee, they would travel to Washington, DC!!!
