CCS welcomes author and Stanly County native KRISTI BUTLER. On Thursday, NOV. 11^th, Mrs. Butler will be joining grades K-5^th to read her books GROVER GROUNDHOG IS NOT HIBERNATING THIS CHRISTMAS and GRACIE’S GROUNDHOG DAY SURPRISE. Personalized, autographed copies will be available.

Also, on Friday, NOV. 12^th, 5^th grade is having a read-a-thon to help raise money for a Christian orphanage in Romania.
