Student Activities
On October 9th the fourth grade students and many parents went to Mt. Mitchell State Park. Students and parents planted about 100 fraser firs for the state park. They enjoyed a guided nature trail tour and a presentation about black bears by park naturalist James Michael Sanders. Students also hiked on the strenuous Black Mountain Crest Trail to Mt. Craig for a well deserved lunch.
