Pre-K: Discovering and Growing

Our Pre-K program provides a dynamic and engaging introduction to school for our youngest learners. We focus on developing key foundational skills while nurturing each child's natural curiosity

Program Highlights:

• High-intensity phonics using the ABEKA curriculum
• Introduction to sentence structure and punctuation
• Number recognition (1-20), writing (1-10), and counting (1-100)
• Basic addition skills
• Daily Bible lessons for spiritual guidance
• Weekly Chapel participation
• Enrichment classes: Wellness, Communications Program, Art, Music, Library, and Physical Education (P.E.)
• Class field trips (on and off campus)
• Participation in school-wide events

Key Goals:

• Prepare students for future academic success
• Develop strong character and faith
• Cultivate effective communication skills

Important Note: Students must be 4 years of age by August 31st of the enrolling school year.

Kindergarten: Building a Foundation

Kindergarten is a pivotal year where students build essential academic and social skills. Our program provides a nurturing environment where children thrive

• Bible instruction using the BJU curriculum with catechism reinforcement

• ABEKA curriculum for core subjects: Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
• Manuscript handwriting development
• Hands-on learning with manipulatives and learning centers
• Weekly Chapel participation
• Enrichment classes: Wellness, Communications Program, STEM, Art, Music, Library, and Physical Education (P.E.) (twice per week)
• Class field trips and participation in school events

• Prepare students for secondary education
• Develop a strong academic and spiritual foundation
• Identify and utilize God-given talents
• Become effective communicators and problem solvers

1st - 2nd Grade: Developing Core Skills

Our program in Grades 1-2 focuses on building essential skills in reading, language arts, and mathematics.

Program Highlights:

• Bible instruction using the BJU curriculum with catechism reinforcement
• ABEKA curriculum for core subjects: Reading, Grammar, Spelling, Science, Social Studies, and Health
• BJU curriculum for Mathematics instruction
• Handwriting development: manuscript (Grade 1) and cursive (Grade 2)
• Hands-on learning with manipulatives
• Weekly Chapel participation
• Enrichment classes: Wellness, Communications Program, STEM, Art, Music, Library, and Physical Education (P.E.) (twice per week)
• Class field trips, academic competitions, and participation in school events

Grades 3-5: Expanding Horizons

In Grades 3-5, students expand their knowledge base, engage in more in-depth learning, and take on increased academic responsibility.

• BJU curriculum for Mathematics, Science, and ELA (Grammar/Writing)
• Novel exploration in Reading
• ACSI materials for Spelling
• ABEKA curriculum for Social Studies
• Weekly Chapel participation
• Annual IOWA testing
• Enrichment classes: Wellness, Communications Program, STEM, Art, Music, Library, Technology (additional fee) and Physical Education (P.E.) (twice per week)
• Class field trips, academic competitions, junior athletics (where applicable) and clubs
