Middle School
Exploring Potential, Building Confidence
Welcome to Carolina Christian School Middle School, where we are committed to helping students in grades 6-8 develop a growing and dynamic relationship with Christ and discover their God-given gifts. Our program is built on our mission to teach the mind and guide the soul through a deeper understanding of God the Creator and His world.

Our Focus
Our Middle School program provides an exciting opportunity for students to:
- Deepen Their Faith: We encourage students to develop a life that reflects an integrated Biblical worldview.
- Explore God's World: We provide opportunities to explore the world God created through engaging and challenging curriculum.
- Discover Their Gifts: We guide students to understand and develop their individual God-given talents.
- Prepare for High School: We equip eighth-grade graduates to confidently transition to high school, ready for the challenges ahead.
Middle School Academics
Our Middle School program includes yearlong courses in Bible, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, along with enrichment courses in Art, Physical Education, Music/Choir, Life Skills, and Digital Citizenship. All courses meet or exceed NC state educational standards.
- Grading & Assessments: We use a 10-point numeric grading scale and issue report cards four times a year. Students participate in annual IOWA testing.
- Technology Integration: Each student is provided with a CCS-issued Chromebook for the school year. Our FACTS Student Information System (SIS) provides parents with ongoing access to grades and academic performance.
Middle School Student Life
We offer a vibrant student life experience with opportunities for growth and community. Students can participate in activities such as Group Bible Study, Class Field Trips, and social events. We also have clubs like Running Club and Science Olympiad, along with leadership opportunities in the National Junior Beta Club and Student Government (SGA).
Our approach to student conduct is based on biblical principles and a positive learning environment. The Educator's Handbook is used to document both exemplary behavior with "Merits" and areas where students can grow. We also encourage students to live within our rules and regulations by following the Matthew 18 Principle to address concerns directly and respectfully.
We recognize student achievement in academics, character development, and athletics through a variety of awards and ceremonies throughout the year.
