Cub Club: Our Before and After School Care Program

Carolina Christian School offers a Before and After School Care program, known as Cub Club, to assist parents who need additional childcare outside of school hours. This program is available on a daily or as-needed basis for students in preschool through 12th grade who are currently enrolled and in good standing. All Cub Club forms must be completed and submitted to the front office before a student can attend.

Hours of Operation

Cub Club is only available on days when school is in regular session. It is not available on holidays, teacher workdays, or during inclement weather and emergency early releases.

• Before School Care: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM 
• PreK Bridge: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (for PreK students only)
• After School Care: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Program Details

Cub Club provides adult supervision, with all activities taking place on CCS property, including the gym, cafeteria, and playgrounds. The program offers recreation and free-time play, as well as dedicated time for homework and study. An afternoon snack is provided, but parents should note that no morning snacks are provided, though students are permitted to eat food they bring.

For homework time in the afternoons, students must have a book in their book bag for silent reading if they do not have other assignments.

Behavioral Expectations

Cub Club is an extension of Carolina Christian School, and as such, the school's Student Code of Conduct applies. Students are expected to be respectful, obedient, and responsible for their actions and property. The club follows the same behavioral guidelines and consequences outlined in the main student handbook15.

Technology Use: Electronic devices are not allowed before or after school, with the exception of high school and middle school students using their laptops for schoolwork only.

Fees & Financial Information

All Cub Club fees will be posted to your FACTS account weekly and are due within 10 days. Please note that if your account has a past-due balance, your child will not be allowed to attend the program until the account is balanced.

• Before School Care: $10.00 daily or a prepaid yearly rate of $800.
• After School Care (PreK Bridge): $5.00 for 1:30-3:00 PM, or $20.00 per day per student for after-school care.
• After School Care (K-12): $20.00 per day per student.

For tax purposes, all program services documentation is available through the FACTS payment system.

Pick-Up Policy

All students must be picked up by 6:00 PM. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes past 6:00 PM. For security, only individuals authorized on the enrollment form are permitted to pick up a student.
