Dress Code and Uniforms

Dress Code & Uniforms

At Carolina Christian School, our dress code reflects our commitment to modesty, professionalism, and honoring God through personal appearance. We believe that clothing choices influence both attitude and behavior, and we partner with families to help students make wise, respectful decisions about how they present themselves.

What’s the Difference?

Uniforms are required Monday–Wednesday and consist of specific clothing items in approved colors and styles.
Spirit Wear is CCS-branded apparel that may be worn on Thursdays and Fridays. It includes items from school events, athletics, and the Parent Teacher Coalition.

Lower School Dress Code Update

Effective 11.4.2025 – Jeans on Fridays

In alignment with our commitment to school spirit and student comfort, we are updating our Lower School dress code policy regarding jeans.

Current Handbook Policy Reminder:

  • Pants/Capris/Shorts/Skorts: Navy and khaki colors only.
  • Jeans: Only permitted on approved days.
  • Leggings: Not to be worn as pants; may only be worn under dresses.

New Update:

  • Students may now wear jeans on Fridays when paired with Carolina Christian School spirit wear tops.
  • Jeggings are not permitted as they do not meet the definition of jeans.
  • Jeans must be free of holes, rips, or tears to maintain a neat and respectful appearance.

We appreciate your support in helping students represent our school well while enjoying a little extra comfort on Fridays!

We're here to help!

Please refer to the handbooks for all details regarding the dress code and uniforms.
