Carolina Christian School reserves the right to deny enrollment to, or to dismiss, any student or family that expresses direct contradiction to the CCS statement of faith, policies and procedures.
School records for students transferring to Carolina Christian School will be requested by the school office.
The admission to Carolina Christian School and the assignment of students to classes is the responsibility of the administration of the school. Students cannot transfer from one class to another.

New student applicants in Grades 10-12 will be required to provide an official High School transcript. After receipt of the transcript, if additional evaluation is needed, CCS reserves the right to request that the applicant complete a pre-admissions assessment.
- Once available class seats have been filled, students will be placed on a waiting list. Placement on a grade level waiting list does not constitute acceptance, and the order of selection from a waiting list is at the sole discretion of the administration.

Carolina Christian School Enrollment
Carolina Christian School will hold enrollment each school year in two phases:
Current CCS Student Re-Enrollment:
During our re-enrollment period, all current Carolina Christian School students will be eligible to reserve their seat on the next class roster. Securing a student's seat for the upcoming school term will require the submission of an online re-enrollment packet on behalf of the current student and payment of the non-refundable re-enrollment fee. Please note that all current Carolina Christian School PreK students will be eligible for re-enrollment into our Kindergarten class; no student pre-admissions assessment required. However, if our PreK teacher suggests assessment prior to Kindergarten enrollment, we reserve the right to charge for the assessment ($150).
CCS Sibling Applications Accepted:
During our Re-Enrollment period siblings of current CCS students (Preschool through Grade 12) will be eligible to submit a new student application. All non-refundable application fees must be paid at the time of application submission to be considered.
2) OPEN ENROLLMENT:
Each new student interested in enrolling at Carolina Christian School is required to complete an online application. Applications will be made available during our open enrollment period each school year and will be accepted through August 31 of the new school term, pending classroom availability. Each new student application requires an application fee to be paid at the time of submission and is non-refundable.
APPLICATION FEES: $100 (Preschool: PS2, PS3 and PS4) / $155 (PreK-Grade 12)
Application fees are non-refundable and are require payment at the time of application submission.
STUDENT READINESS ASSESSMENTS
All new student applicants (PreK - Grade 9) are required to complete a pre-admissions assessment. This assessment is designed to evaluate readiness and proper grade placement for each student, in order to provide the best chance for individual academic success at Carolina Christian School. Once your student application has been reviewed, inclusive of all required documents, our admissions team will contact you to schedule an assessment appointment. Two on-site assessment dates will take place at Carolina Christian School. We ask that you make every effort to be available for on-site assessments. If you unable to make the on-site assessment dates, you will need to complete the battery of assessments at ABC Educational Services in Matthews, NC. Once assessment results are delivered to Carolina Christian School, a member of our admissions team will contact you to review the results and discuss next steps.
KINDERGARTEN REQUIREMENT(all Kindergarteners)
All Kindergarten applicants, in addition to updated/current immunizations, are required to have a NC Kindergarten health assessment completed by the student's physician before the first day of school. This is a requirement for all Kindergarten students, including current CCS PreK students re-enrolling into Kindergarten for the upcoming school term.
HIGH SCHOOL REQUIREMENT (new applicants)
All new High School student applicants are required, in addition to the online application and student pre-admissions assessments (where requested), to complete a student questionnaire. The student questionnaire is built into the student application, and MUST be completed and signed by the student verifying that the student completed the work.
Once an applicant has completed all the requirements for the admissions process, the student's application will be evaluated by our admissions team to make a determination on the best fit students for each of our classes. If acceptance is granted on behalf of the applicant, you will be notified by our admissions team on how to officially enroll your student into their prospective class for the upcoming school year. The student's enrollment packet must be completed online and upon submission, the student's non-refundable enrollment fee will be required in order to secure the student's seat on their respective class roster. New student enrollment fees are not required for Preschool age students (PS2, PS3 and PS4) as they are covered in the student's application fee. Annual re-enrollment fees apply to Preschool students.
NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT FEES: PreK: $300, Lower School (K-Grade 5): $440, Middle School: $440, High School: $695
Enrollment fees are non-refundable and payment is required upon submission of the student's online enrollment packet.
Carolina Christian School desires to provide an affordable, quality Christian education. It is our sincere hope that no family would fail to consider our school based on financial reasons alone. As a result, we offer need-based financial aid to assist qualified families in affording a Carolina Christian education.
Information on the submission timeframe for FACTS Grant and Aid will be posted as soon as it is available for the upcoming school year.
FINANCIAL AID POLICY
Families seeking financial aid must reapply each school year.
FACTS financial aid is available to qualifying students, grades K-12.
Families may be eligible to receive up to $1500 per student in financial aid based on the results of their financial aid report.
All financial aid granted is contingent upon the student maintaining acceptable academic progress and avoiding disciplinary problems. Failure to do so would result in loss of financial aid.
Financial aid applications will be accepted with the start of enrollment through March 15th. No applications will be accepted after this time.
All financial obligations such as tuition and incidentals must remain current. Failure to do so will result in loss of financial aid.
Additional restrictions or adjustments may be added at any time throughout the year, as the Head of School and/or the CCS School Board deem necessary.
Financial aid and the NC Opportunity Scholarship are separate programs. A student may only utilize one form of financial aid per school year; FACTS Grant and Aid and the NC Opportunity Scholarship may not be combined.
SCHOOL CHOICE - NC Opportunity Scholarship Program
Carolina Christian School participates in the school choice opportunity provided to NC families (sometimes referred to as the NC Opportunity Scholarship). Please note that this is a state-funded program that is not managed by CCS. For information on the NC Opportunity Scholarship, please go to http://www.ncseaa.edu/OSG.htm.
