ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Carolina Christian School Enrollment
Carolina Christian School offers annual enrollment in three phases:
1) RE-ENROLLMENT: January 13-26, 2025
Current CCS Student Re-Enrollment:
During our re-enrollment period all current Carolina Christian School students will be eligible to reserve their seat on the next class roster. Securing a student's seat for the upcoming school year will require the submission of an online re-enrollment packet on behalf of the current student and payment of the non-refundable re-enrollment fee. Please note that all current Carolina Christian School PreK students will be eligible for re-enrollment into our Kindergarten class; no student pre-admission assessment required. However, if our PreK teacher suggests assessment prior to Kindergarten enrollment, we reserve the right to charge for the assessment ($175).

Early Application for PreK and Kindergarten for Current Carolina Christian Preschool Students (PS3 and PS4 only):
Current Carolina Christian Preschool students in our PS3 and PS4 classes that are interested in applying for PreK or Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, may submit an early application during our re-enrollment period (January 13-26, 2025). All Carolina Christian Preschool students looking to enroll in either PreK or Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year must submit a new student application and complete a pre-admission assessment. The application will be accessible through your family portal account.

2) PRIORITY CCS SIBLING APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED: January 27- February 2, 2025 (Pending availability by grade level.)

3) OPEN ENROLLMENT: February 6, 2025 (Pending availability by grade level.)
New students interested in enrolling at Carolina Christian School are required to complete an online application. Applications will be made available during our open enrollment period each school year and will be accepted through August 31 of the enrolling year, pending availability by grade level. Each new student application requires an application fee to be paid at the time of submission and is non-refundable.

APPLICATION FEES:
$150 (Preschool: PS2, PS3 and PS4) / $175 (PreK-Grade 12)
Application fees are non-refundable and payment is required at the time of application submission.

STUDENT READINESS PRE-ADMISSION ASSESSMENT
All new student applicants (PreK - Grade 9) are required to complete a student readiness pre-admission assessment. This assessment is designed to evaluate readiness and proper grade placement for each student, in order to provide the best chance for individual academic success at Carolina Christian School. Once your student application has been reviewed, inclusive of all required documents, our Admissions team will contact you to schedule an assessment appointment. Three on-site assessment dates will take place at Carolina Christian School (March 14, March 17 and March 21, 2025). We ask that you make every effort to be available for on-site assessments. If you are unable to make the on-site assessment dates, you will need to complete the battery of assessments at ABC Educational Services in Matthews, NC. Once assessment results are delivered to Carolina Christian School, a member of our Admissions team will contact you to review the results and discuss next steps.
KINDERGARTEN REQUIREMENT(all Kindergarteners)
All Kindergarten applicants, in addition to updated/current immunizations, are required to have a NC Kindergarten health assessment completed by the student's physician before the first day of school. This is a requirement for all Kindergarten students, including current CCS PreK students re-enrolling into Kindergarten for the upcoming school year.
HIGH SCHOOL REQUIREMENT (new applicants)
All new High School student applicants are required, in addition to the online application and student pre-admission assessment (where requested), to complete a student questionnaire. The student questionnaire is built into the student application, and MUST be completed and signed by the student verifying that the student completed the work.

OFFICIAL ENROLLMENT
Once an applicant has completed all the requirements for the Admissions process, the student's application will be evaluated by our Admissions team to make a determination on the best fit students for each of our classes. If acceptance is granted on behalf of the applicant, you will be notified by our admissions team on how to officially enroll your student into their class for the upcoming school year. The student's enrollment packet must be completed online and upon submission, the student's non-refundable enrollment fee will be required in order to secure the student's seat on his/her respective class roster. New student enrollment fees are not required for Preschool age students (PS2, PS3 and PS4) as they are covered upfront with the student's application fee. Annual re-enrollment fees apply to returning Preschool students.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT FEES:
PreK: $350, Lower School (K-Grade 5): $480, Middle School: $600, High School: $775
Enrollment fees are non-refundable and payment is required upon submission of the student's online enrollment packet.
