Once your student application has been reviewed, inclusive of all required documents, our Admissions team will contact you to schedule an assessment appointment. Two on-site assessment dates will take place at Carolina Christian School (March 11 and March 15, 2024). We ask that you make every effort to be available for on-site assessments. If you are unable to make the on-site assessment dates, you will need to complete the battery of assessments at ABC Educational Services in Matthews, NC. Once assessment results are delivered to Carolina Christian School, a member of our Admissions team will contact you to review the results and discuss next steps.
KINDERGARTEN REQUIREMENT(all Kindergarteners)
All Kindergarten applicants, in addition to updated/current immunizations, are required to have a NC Kindergarten health assessment completed by the student's physician before the first day of school. This is a requirement for all Kindergarten students, including current CCS PreK students re-enrolling into Kindergarten for the upcoming school year.
HIGH SCHOOL REQUIREMENT (new applicants)
All new High School student applicants are required, in addition to the online application and student pre-admission assessment (where requested), to complete a student questionnaire. The student questionnaire is built into the student application, and MUST be completed and signed by the student verifying that the student completed the work.
Once an applicant has completed all the requirements for the admissions process, the student's application will be evaluated by our admissions team to make a determination on the best fit students for each of our classes. If acceptance is granted on behalf of the applicant, you will be notified by our admissions team on how to officially enroll your student into their class for the upcoming school year. The student's enrollment packet must be completed online and upon submission, the student's non-refundable enrollment fee will be required in order to secure the student's seat on their respective class roster. Carolina Christian School desires to provide an affordable, quality Christian education. It is our sincere hope that no family would fail to consider our school based on financial reasons alone. As a result, we offer need-based financial aid to assist qualified families in affording a Carolina Christian education.
FINANCIAL AID POLICY - FACTS Grant and Aid
FACTS Grant and Aid applications must be submitted online between January 9 - May 15, 2024. No applications will be accepted after this time.

Current Students: Re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year must have been completed and the re-enrollment packet received by the school.
Please note that the submission of a FACTS Grant and Aid application without one of the above listed items being executed first, will result in the FACTS Grant and Aid application being void.

Required documented needed to apply for FACTS Grant and Aid, click here.
FACTS Grant and Aid is separate from our CCS Family Portal and requires different account login credentials (username and password).

Families seeking financial aid must reapply each school year.
Families may be eligible to receive up to $1500 per student in financial aid based on the results of their financial aid report.
All financial aid granted is contingent upon the student maintaining acceptable academic progress and avoiding disciplinary problems. Failure to do so would result in loss of financial aid.
All financial obligations such as tuition and incidentals must remain current. Failure to do so will result in loss of financial aid.
Additional restrictions or adjustments may be added at any time throughout the year, as the Head of School and/or the CCS School Board deem necessary.
Financial aid and the NC Opportunity Scholarship are separate programs. A student may only utilize one form of financial aid per school year; FACTS Grant and Aid and the NC Opportunity Scholarship may not be combined.
